Avoiding the Heat at Zippel's Smoky Bay Oysters, South Australia

A family run Oyster growing business situated in picturesque Smoky Bay; a beautiful coastal  town located on the western Eyre Peninsula within the Great Australian Bight.

Pristine growing conditions and a blend of old and new farming technologies give Zippel's Smoky Bay Oysters their superb quality and great reputation. Zippel's added Ozmist misting fans to their arsenal of technologies, keeping their farming sheds cool.

In South Australia the summer heat there is a need to keep their staff and produce cool and comfortable. Installing a fan based misting system of 4 fans rum by a CPM55 pump, and later adding to their system with two additional fans. In their positions they cool across the farm shed.

Each misting ring has 6 specially designed nozzles that atomize the water into tiny droplets of mist which is thrown by the fan 10 meters, cooling the zone down dramatically.
